Woman Claims Burna Boy’s Relationship With Stefflon Don Is Fake

Fashion model Jo Pearl has taken to Instagram where she shared details of her 2-year relationship with singer, Burna Boy, despite his relationship with fellow singer Stefflon Don.

In two videos she uploaded on Instagram, Pearl says she quickly fell in love with the ‘Ye’ singer. She also called Burna’s relationship with Stefflon Don a ‘publicity stunt’ and said: ‘There is no way this boy is going to go out with someone like THAT’.

According to Pearl, the singer slid into her DM’s but she claims it took her one week to respond.

Then, they met at Burna Boy’s pop-up shop/meet and greet in London.

Pearl said: “He made me feel like it was love at first sight”.

“He just gravitated towards me, he was very sweet, its like I had known him for years”.

“He was so affectionate, loving and caring, he wanted me to follow him everything”.

“I was at all of his shows”.

“He said he loved me and added, your gonna be my wife, I’m gonna marry you, your gonna have twins, your my sweet jolloff, said Pearl.

Pearl said Burna wanted to be with her all the time and she was staying at his place for ‘weeks’ at a time.

She revealed that things were great between the couple up until November when he had to go to Nigeria due to the busy Christmas season but says she had a ‘gut feeling’ things would never be the same again.

She added, “Mid December I couldn’t get in contact with him but after 2-weeks he reached out to me and told me he had been sick in hospital”.

“The people around Burna were strongly against me coming to Nigeria which was fine because I had work as well”.

Pearl said it all came to a head when she felt that the singer was continually making excuses and they had a big argument.

She said: “In January, I go on social media and see Burna Boy is in a relationship with so and so”.

“I’ve never cried so hard in my life”.

The model said she went to see Burna in Nigeria and added: “I knew what was going on but to be honest at that point I just thought that relationship is fake anyway”.

“Like I just thought that there is no way this boy is going to go and date someone like THAT, only because of the things that he has told me about his ‘ideal’ woman and just knowing how he is so in tuned with his African heritage and his love for black women”.

“I just thought that this is a publicity stunt, I don’t even care, said Pearl.

She added, ‘The biggest regret I have is never addressing the issue’.
