A West Virginia woman was sentenced to 40 years in prison after plotting with her father to kill her boyfriend. Amanda Michelle Naylor McClure, 31, pleaded guilty for her role in the death of John Thomas McGuire, 38, in February 2019.
McGuire's dismembered remains were found in a shallow grave in Skygusty, West Virginia in September 2019.
McClure's guilty plea comes a month after her father, Larry Paul McClure, Sr., 55, was sentenced to life without mercy for McGuire's killing. McClure Sr. was recently living in West Virginia after being released from prison in Kentucky on sex offense charges.
Amanda and her father were reportedly estranged as Amanda was raised by her adoptive parents. The pair became incestuously involved following the murder and were married a month later.
