Peter Gunz found himself trending on social media this past weekend after a new trailer showed the Love & Hip Hop personality hosting the long-running reality show, Cheaters.
After the rapper is introduced by his real name, Peter Pankey, the trailer dives into the show's usual routine of busting people suspected of cheating on their significant other. Over the years, the show has created memorable TV moments by popping up on offenders while they're in the middle of the act.
Many on social media pointed out the irony in Peter Gunz hosting the show considering his history of alleged infidelity and fathering at least 10 children.
"Not peter gunz. not the man that impregnated his wife AND his gf at the same time. cheaters got the ultimate cheater," read one Twitter reaction while another Twitter user wrote, "Peter Gunz, the king of cheaters is now HOSTING a show bout catchin cheaters! Is 2020 over yet?"
Peter Gunz was announced as the new host of Cheaters in February after the previous host passed away from a drug overdose. The show's 20th season will air on VH1.
