James Timothy Norman, 41, is the son of "Welcome To Sweetie Pie's" star Robbie Montgomery. Yesterday, Norman was arrested and charged with a murder-for-hire plot to kill his nephew.

Sources state that Norman is being charged with conspiracy to use interstate commerce facilities in the commission of a murder-for-hire resulting in death, for the fatal 2016 shooting of Andre Montgomery, his nephew and the grandson of his mother, Robbie Montgomery.

Allegedly in 2016, Norman and an exotic dancer, Terica Ellis, conspired to kill Montgomery. Both Norman and Ellis traveled to St. Louis. Norman from Los Angeles and Ellis from Memphis. In the days before Montgomery was shot and killed, according to the criminal complaint, which cited cell phone pings tracked to both suspects.

Reports state that on the day of the shooting, Montgomery allegedly texted Ellis his address, at which point Ellis then called Norman “for the purpose of sharing Montgomery’s location." The report also shows that Montgomery was shot around 8 p.m. on March 14, 2016, at which point Ellis called Norman, then drove home to Memphis.

Two days after the murder, Ellis deposited more than $9,000 in cash into multiple bank accounts, including one she opened a day after Montgomery’s death. In April, Norman sent her an additional $700 through Western Union, according to the criminal complaint.

A week after Montgomery’s death, Norman attempted to collect on the insurance policies, but was denied because he failed to produce the required documents. In addition, documents state, “The applications of all these policies contained numerous false statements regarding Montgomery’s income, occupation, and family history."

According to the criminal complaint, Norman allegedly received a $250,000 life insurance policy on his nephew in 2014, when his nephew was 18 years old, and made himself the sole beneficiary. Two weeks later, he took out a second life insurance policy, worth $200,000, as well as an accidental death rider for another $250,000.

Norman is being held without bond at the Madison County Detention Center in Mississippi.
