Sex Offender Who Was Recently Bailed Out, Rearrested For Rape

Reports state that Shawn McClinton, 39, is facing rape charges for the fourth time in his life.

In mid-July, the Massachusetts Bail Fund put up $15,000 to bail him out for a previous charge, and as McClinton was awaiting his court hearing, just three weeks later he allegedly kidnapped and raped a woman. McClinton was arrested on charges of aggravated rape, and armed kidnapping with sexual assault after the woman told police she was held against her will at knife point, forcing her to perform oral sex on him.

Officials state that the woman and McClinton met on Tuesday and was taken to his home in Quincy, MA. The woman is alleging that McClinton became hostile after she attempted to leave his home on Wednesday and was accused of being an undercover cop. He then allegedly strangled and forced the woman to perform oral sex. 

McClinton is due back in court September 4, 2020 and is currently being held without bond.
