Boston officials closed down Nusret Gokce aka Salt Bae's signature steakhouse after finding that the restaurant was not enforcing mask or social distancing measures.
Over one week ago, Gokce posted a video clip of people packed outside and inside of the restaurant. The restaurant had just re-opened over a week ago when Massachusetts announced it would start letting more people dine-in.
It's believed that the restaurant caught the authorities' attention after a Tik Tok video of a woman twerking inside of the restaurant went viral. In the video, Gokce is filming a woman twerking in front of him before a furious man storms into the restaurant. The video cuts off as the woman is seen fleeing. Sources state that the man seen in the video is not the young lady's boyfriend. In fact, the angry man stormed in and approached another young lady.
The restaurant will have a couple of hearings this week to respond to the alleged violations.
