According to reports, the Philadelphia 76ers are interested in and plan to pursue trading for James Harden this offseason. The report started circulated just as the Sixers signed former Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey to a multiyear deal to run its basketball operations.
NBA insider Shams Charania said on Tuesday, "Philadelphia is expected to be interested in and pursue James Harden," but noted they aren't the only team interested in the former NBA MVP. The Sixers are looking to become title contenders in the East but a trade for Harden would necessarily mean parting ways with one of their two superstars - Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid
