North Carolina Couple Charged With Sexually Assaulting 12-year-Old Boy

A Harnett County couple has been charged with sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy in their home three years ago, authorities said Tuesday.

Kerrie Norris, 35, and Emmanuel Lewis Davis, 36, both of Dunn, were charged with statutory rape, statutory sex offense and felony conspiracy. Norris was being held in the Harnett County jail under $855,000 bond, while Davis was in the Cumberland County jail under $435,000 bond.

The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office received information in June from authorities in Cumberland and Sampson counties and began investigating an assault alleged to have occurred in the summer of 2017. Norris and Davis were in a relationship at the time, and they both knew the boy, authorities said.
