"At Nike, we believe there is no place for hate speech and we condemn any form of antisemitism." says Nike, on Friday when announcing the suspension of their partnership with Kyrie Irving. This follows after news struck that Kyrie Irving will be suspended from playing at least five games with his team, The Brooklyn Nets, due to Iriving refusing to apologize for what society considers antisemitic comments and tweeting a link to a documentary that what he thinks, supports his opinions.
Nike also said, "We are deeply saddened and disappointed by the situation and its impact on everyone." after announcing that they will no longer the Kyrie 8 basketball shoe.
