According to reports, a Florida man was recently arrested after assaulting a deputy with a bible. The arrest affidavit states that the man's neighbor called authorities after finding the front door to his home kicked in. When deputies arrived they were approached by 39-year-old Robert Hoskins who said, "I (expletive) up man. I was mad."
Apparently, Hoskins asked his neighbor to borrow some clothes and when he was told no, he kicked in the door out of anger. Hoskins was only wearing a pair of underwear at the time and began telling the officers, "I condemn you," before hitting the deputy in the face with a bible.
Hoskins faces charges of burglary to an unoccupied dwelling, petit theft, criminal mischief - property damage, battery on an officer, and resisting an officer without violence.
