City Girls Speak On Female Rappers Taking Over The Industry

Miami rap group, City Girls sat down with New York's radio show, The Breakfast Club to discuss new music and the work they're doing and have been doing within the music industry. This follows just days after they were being dragged for not promoting Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallions Hit, "WAP".

The duo were asked their opinion on men being so judgmental of female rappers, JT shared her opinion.

"Men is just threatened by the women dominating right now because they are used to being in control of putting women on records, and now women are starting to team up and do it without them. Now they got so much to say because back then you had to get on a hot song with a man to go number one or even chart, but now women are doing it themselves.

Yung Miami was vocal as well, and said "I say shut the f*** up, period," Yung Miami said in response to how she responds to criticism coming from men. "Like just shut up. They’ve been talking about this for years for decades, so why is this a problem now?"

Despite JT and Yung Miami's unfortunate life obstacles, they've still managed to release a new project this past June, as well as their youbtube series that allows fans to get a closer look behind the scenes of the City Girls duo.
