Christian Group Raises Over $500K For Kenosha Shooter Kyle Rittenhouse

Previously, 17-year-old Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse was charged with multiple felonies in connection to the shooting in Kenosha, WI which left two BLM protesters dead and another maimed. Court docs revealed that Rittenhouse faces "one count each of first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide and one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide," and "two counts of reckless endangerment, and with possessing a dangerous weapon as a minor." Now, news has surfaced noting a Christian group has crowdfunded a massive amount of money for the shooter since he was arrested and charged.

According to reports, a Christian crowdfunding site has raised over $520,000 to help Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse cover legal fees in the matter. The money was sent by numerous people who donated to the GiveSendGo site, which was created after Rittenhouse fired off and shot BLM protesters on August 25th.

The description for the crowdfunding on the site says: “Now, Kyle is being unfairly charged with murder 1, by a DA who seems determined to capitalize on the political angle of the situation. The situation was clearly self-defense, and Kyle and his family will undoubtedly need money to pay for the legal fees. Let’s give back to someone who bravely tried to defend his community.” Currently, the shooter is being held on murder charges and his lawyers are fighting to avoid extradition of their client to Wisconsin so he can stand trial for his crimes.
