Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP" Makes Billboard History

The hit single “WAP” has landed at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending August 13. According to Billboard, the track pulled in 93 million streams, the most for any song in its first week aside from Ariana Grande's "7 Rings" in 2019.

“WAP” has dominated both the Streaming Songs and Digital Song Sales charts, with roughly 93 million U.S. streams and 125,000 downloads sold. The song has also gained over 11.6 million radio airplay audience impressions in the week ending August 16.

“WAP” has also debuted at No. 1 on both the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts.
