I've previously reported in January that Brooklyn's rapper, Bobby Shmurda will be released on February 23, 2021.
In just the few hours to come, Bobby has told sources that upon release, he just wants to spend time with his family and eat some good food.
Leslie Pollard, Bobby Shmurda's mother told TMZ that the now 26 year old Brooklynite just wants to enjoy an "intimate dinner" with his loved ones and get back to his first passion, which is music.
Once Bobby Shmurda is released, he is mandated to meet with his parole officer regularly, until 2026. Which is when he will be off of parole supervision.
Bobby was initially sentenced to seven years in prison in 2016 after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy and weapons possession charges as part of a plea deal. At the time, he had already spent two years in prison in lieu of a $2 million bond. Bobby alleged in court the day of the sentencing that his attorney, Alex Spiro, “forced” him to take the plea deal, but the judge declined to have the case adjourned.
However, in January, law enforcement sources told TMZ the Department of Corrections bumped up his release from New York’s Clinton Correctional Facility to Feb. 23, which is 10 months early than his previously scheduled release, after evaluating his “behavior and participation in prison programs.”
