Adele, 32, is not dating rapper Skepta, 38, she has confirmed after it was reported that things were ‘heating up’ between the couple.
The singer shut down the rumours as she told fans she’s a ‘(single) cat lady,’ in an Instagram caption, which she shared on Wednesday.
She wrote alongside a photo of herself on Saturday Night Live, "Had the best time on SNL! Thank you to the most wonderful cast, crew, writers and producers. What a sublime bunch of people you are. Lorne thank you for believing in me! Lindsay my sister for life, Maya my comedy and Mama hero! Plus the so up for it audiences at both the dress rehearsal and live show! Adele and Skepta, real name Joseph Adenuga have been friends for years and come from the same neighbourhood of Tottenham, London.
“Adele texts me all the time and keeps me in check,” Skepta who has a 2-year-old daughter, River, from a previous relationship said in a 2016 interview with the Evening Standard.
She filed for divorce from husband Simon Konecki in September 2019 after seven years together.
They share an 8-year-old son named Angelo.
