According to reports, an officer with the Louisville Metro Police Department was shot at approximately 8:30 PM local time during the Wednesdat night's protest in the wake of the Breonna Taylor decision. Multiple videos are currently circulating social media showing protesters flee as shots began ringing out.
Two officers who's names aren't being released were wounded on Wednesday night during the protest in response to the Breonna Taylor decision. According to Interim Louisville Police Chief Robert Schroeder, one person is currently in custody. One of the wounded officers was alert and stable, while the other officer required surgery but is also stable.
A curfew has been imposed in Louisville for the next 72 hours between 9 PM and 6:30 AM.
