Black Student Arrested After Being Seen Tasered By Cop, Cop Won't Face Discipline

Video emerging from a Florida high school shows a cop tasing a student after an apparent altercation with another student.

The incident occurred at Eustis High School in Central Florida after a fight between two students that the school resource officer said he attempted to squash. According to the officer, the teen allegedly attacked him, punching him several times in the head.

The officer is then seen using the taser on the teen, bringing the girl to the ground. The clip originally shared on TikTok went viral but has since been taken down. According to the sheriff's department, the deputy did everything by the book in trying to get the teen to comply prior to using the taser.

Authorities say the deputy involved has not been disciplined for the incident but noted that the teen girl has been arrested. Her charges were not disclosed.
